Stonedead Geoff

Having been a volunteer at the festival for the first 2 years and signed up again for this one, I have an emotional connection to the festival, Thus I was thrilled when I was given the OK to be able to make a Stonedead Geoff mini sun-catcher.
Production of these will be limited to a maximum of only 50. I have used tradition kiln fired paints for the background and etched Jeff into it before firing, This technique has been around since roman times. The piece is finished using the Tiffany technique, and the solder finish can be silver, copper or black. The sun-catcher is approximately 8cm x 8cm and each one will be individually handmade, so there will be slight differences between each one. They will also be made to order, so there may be some delay before you receive your sun-catcher. Each one will come with a length of fishing wire to enable you to hang it at your desired height. Each piece will cost £35 + P&P and £10 of each sale will go to the Stonedead festival. |
